Meeting Minutes from April 16, 2009
Present at the Meeting:
Pat Casey, Stiney Vonderhaar, and Jim Owens
Topics Discussed:
- Reviewed meeting minutes from March 19th
- Discussed committee involvement in April 25th Earth Day 1-3pm. Stiney to contact Catherine to get copies of history to hand out. Boy Scouts to plant tree at 2pm prior to walk to Griffin Preserve. Committee encouraged to attend.
- Spring Volunteer Day May 9th from 9am to noon. Catherine to provide donuts, coffee, etc. Jim to provide pizza at noon. Activities similar to last year concentrating on trail maintenance and clean up. Jim and Pat to meet at service department 8am on Saturday to pick up supplies and equipment. Stiney to drive dump truck.
Discussion regarding the old building delayed to later meeting.
Action Items:
- Volunteer Day May 9th 9am-noon.
Review options for the old building.
Matheson to spray wildflower meadow when weather permits.
Contractor hired to shave hillside at lower creek trail and replace drain pending weather.
